This is a quick, delicious side for any Mexican dish.
Honestly, for me...it's a delicious side for ANY dish.
~ Cut your avocados and take out the pit. You can use as many as you'd like, for our family of six, I use 3 whole avocados.
~ Scoop the avocado out with a spoon and place into a medium size bowl.
~ Smash with a fork. (This is the fun part!)
~ Add Tony's seasoning (you can find it at any grocery store) and mix together. Now...I'm not good with measurements. I eyeball it. Below is how much I put in this time, I just sprinkle a little all over. But, it was a bit spicy. I'd suggest starting with the minimum amount you think will work and go from there!
~ Squeeze about a teaspoon of lemon juice on top and mix that in. This really helps to keep it from browning.
Whenever you make guacamole, plan on eating it soon after! (I never have a problem with that...) Hehe. :)
~ Grab some tortilla chips or whatever else you want to dip in it and you're set! You can also add tomatoes or onion if you'd like.
|Enjoying it on my back porch :) Yum!|
I have to give a very special thanks to Marci over at Thankful Homemaker for introducing me to Tony's Seasoning. It is so good and verrrry versatile for adding flavor to any dish.
Come back and see us again here at Hearts for Home!
I hope you're having a beautiful day!
