Homemade Eggnog

Are you a regular eggnog drinker during the holidays?! :) Isn't that rich, sweet and spicy drink something you look forward to once winter comes along? Mmmmm. I'm not sure where this recipe came from, but my family and I are sure glad it came across our kitchen. Hope you enjoy it too!

Ingredients: (makes 1 quart)
~ 4 cups whole milk (or 2c 1% + 2c heavy cream-this is key for thickness)
~ 8 egg yokes 
~ 1 1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract
~ 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
~ 1/8 tsp ground cloves
~ 1 tsp ground nutmeg
~ 4 1/2-5 Tbsp. Maple syrup or raw honey (this depends on how sweet you like things)

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend on medium for 30 seconds or until frothy (oh, the froth!).
